Brother
Christie David Masone

Sunrise: December 18th, 1949 ~ Sunset: April 02, 1978

My beloved brother Christie Masone and his partner Norman Cerullo of the 79th Precinct Brooklyn, NY both were both killed on April 2nd, 1978.  They were true heroes who died in the line of duty.  My brother was the first born of 8 children.  He was a good son, amazing brother and soon to be father as his wife Cathy was eight months pregnant when he was shot to death.  Such a horrific tragic passing which left us all in a state of utter shock and despair.  His wife, his soulmate Cathy is now grandmother to two lovely boys, children of his beautiful daughter Angela. They take pride in keeping his memory alive as we all do.  He is missed and loved by family, friends and countless others who still, to this day, tell stories about him!  He was such a funny, lively, kind hearted young man who was taken away from us all way too soon.  He was just 28 years old!

There is no doubt that my brother reached through the gates of heaven to guide my incredible mother and father, who died the same day, my sweet sister Theresa, who passed 2005 and my heart, my beloved son James who passed on Oct 4th, 2009 at the age of just 21 years old.  If you go to the dedications tab you will see each of their dedications listed separately.

The pictures below will give you insight into the personality and phases of my brother's life.  Amongst the pics, you will see his squad 79 precinct  from back in the day who come together at ceremonies that are held in both Christie and Norman's honor.
